To Know Your Treatment Options / Step 3: Finding a Live Kidney Donor

• While you are on the waitlist for a deceased donor, you are encouraged to connect and share your story with your social networks to identify a potential living donor. This can include directly speaking to family, friends, community/ spiritual groups and any other social networks or by sharing your story over social media.
• Sharing your story can be difficult, and the process and experience is unique for every individual.
• Remember that by sharing your story, you are also raising awareness about living donor kidney transplantation (LDKT), making it easier for other members of the ACB communities to also share their story.
